Here are some unfamiliar words I have found in "Language of Composition" these last few weeks.
~ Confute - to refute; to confound
~ Polemical - of or related to a controversy or argument
~ Medial - situated in the middle; average
~ Martinet - a strict disciplinarian; one who demands strict adherence to forms and rules
